On August 2nd, 2015 the IISC and more than 30 volunteers went to the Calgary Drop-in and Rehab center to serve dinner. It was amazing to see so many volunteers come out even though it was a scorching hot day. The menu for the day was beef chilli accompanied by mini tacos. With the help of the extra volunteers service was completed in record timing, a mere twenty five minutes to serve over a thousand people. Many of the volunteers expressed their gratitude at the end to be a part of a program that is eye opening and very self-rewarding.
