My Dear Community Members, As salam alaikum wa rahamatullahi wa barakaatuhu,
As we approach the end of Ramadan and the Day of Eid, and on behalf of IISC, I would like to express my deepest feelings of gratefulness and Shukr. Our beloved Prophet of Allah (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah" (Imam Muslim).
On this beautiful occasion, we want you to know that we really appreciate your cooperation, assistance and donations as we, indeed, assure you that your contributions will make a positive difference in our Islamic work. At IISC, we are truly impressed by the generosity of our community and we really believe that one of the things we need to genuinely thank Allah about is the wonderful support we receive from the members of our community.
Having said this, we would like to update our community that during the period from May 21, 2016 until Monday, July 04, 2016 we have collected and received in our bank account the amount of ($423,141) for the establishment of the new IISC downtown centre. This money will be used to make the payment due in February 2017, along with the necessary renovations.
On the same note, we would like to let you know that all conditions related to any inspection of the building have been waived from the contract on July 04, 2016. We are only waiting for the approval of the City of Calgary for the Change of Use.
May Allah accept our deeds and your deeds as well and may He grant you and your families the blessings of Ramadan and Eid.
