Interfaith Dialogue

On December 1st, 2016, Sh. Navaid Aziz represented the Islamic Information Society of Calgary at an interfaith dialogue organized by the International Dialogue Institute at the University of Calgary downtown campus. The title of the event was: "Abraham: The Father of Three Faiths". The three faiths represented were Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. Each presenter would choose some passages from their holy text that spoke about Abraham and would expand on those passages for 20 minutes. Then the previous presenter would comment on their thoughts of the passage of the other religion. The event concluded with an open question and answer session for 45 minutes. The event was very well received and had a full attendance of 180 people. If you would like to invite Sh. Navaid for an interfaith dialogue please send an email to
