First Responders Sensitivity and Diversity Training

April 29, 2019

On April 29th, 2019, the IISC hosted the Calgary police service, and other first responders for sensitivity and diversity training. The training consisted of: 1- What do Muslims believe? 2- What do Muslims practice? 3- Important facts to know about Islam and the Muslim community. 4- How do we build a better and stronger relationship? The questions and answers time was filled with great discussion, with a lot of questions regarding the deeper nuances of the Muslim faith. Our guests were offered a light ethnic breakfast before starting which is always appreciated. If you would like to host a training for your organization please send an e-mail to Sh. Navaid Aziz at
