First Responders Sensitivity and Diversity Training

On April 29th, 2019, the IISC hosted the Calgary police service, and other first responders for sensitivity and diversity training. The training consisted of: 1- What do Muslims believe? 2- What do Muslims practice? 3- Important facts to know about Islam and the Muslim community. 4- How do we build a better and stronger relationship? The questions and answers time was filled with great discussion, with a lot of questions regarding the deeper nuances of the Muslim faith. Our guests were offered a light ethnic breakfast before starting which is always appreciated. If you would like to host a training for your organization please send an e-mail to Sh. Navaid Aziz at Navaid@iisc.ca
