We hope that this message finds you well. We are truly grateful for your generous support.
With the blessing of Allah SWT and then your generosity, we have collected donations to cover the full payment for the new Masjid, including the outstanding pledges of $295,870, Alhamdulillah. We expect the remaining commitments to come due by the opening date of Thursday - May 25th, 2023, making up the full payment of $2.625 million, In-sha'Allah.
Converting the existing church into the Fairview Southeast Masjid will complete Phase-I of the initial plan. To enable the community to benefit immediately, the Fairview Southeast Masjid will open with basic clean-up and minimum renovations; however, without the building's new design, floor plan, structure upgrades, washrooms, etc. We will continue to accept donations toward this noble project to allow the funds to be used as your sadaqa jariya for renovating, remodelling, maintenance, and where needed.
Thank you again for supporting this virtuous cause. May Allah (SWT) abundantly reward you for your contributions and duaa, making it heavy on your scale of good deeds. We will keep you updated on the progress and any new developments.
