Sheikh Hamza Ayedi
Imam/Instructor
Sheikh Hamza Ayedi was born and raised in Calgary. He is a devoted imam at IISC, intertwining academic excellence with spiritual commitment. Having memorized the Quran at the IISC Quran Academy, Sheikh Hamza was a youth who grew up in the Calgary Islamic community and recently became an imam.
Hamza studied economics at the University of Calgary, and he deepened his religious knowledge with a Bachelor's in Shariah from Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. Alongside, he holds an associate degree in Arabic and a teaching diploma. Now, Hamza is the religious director of the Fairview location and is dedicated to spreading Islamic knowledge across the community.
